For those under 8, kids entertainer and face painter, the Funky Chicken, will be positioned on the recreation area, and boat building activities and workshops from Archipelago Folk School also taking place.
While the youngsters make a splash, there will be food, drinks and live music in the marquee to keep the parents and adults amused!
Ocean Sailing Scotland are generously offering two FREE 2-hour trips on Loch Fyne to celebrate Year of the Young. Participants will be able to experience what it’s like on board the famous Clipper 60 ocean racing yacht, which has circumnavigated the world 4 times!

During the month of May RYA Scotland is promoting getting out on the water with events being held all over the country. So Tarbert Toppers Tlfyc is getting involved too!
Availble to anyone from the age of 8, we have Optimists and Toppers available to sail in beautiful Tarbert Harbour so come and join in during the Scottish Series regatta weekend. There will be qualified instructors and our regular young sailors to help you.
No need to book, just come down to Tarbert Yacht Club at Battery Point in Tarbert (by the ferry slip) with a change of clothes or a wetsuit (you are pretty likely to get wet!) and we'll get you out sailing!

Stand-Up-Paddle Boarding is the latest craze in paddle-sports! Give it a try yourself, with guidance and instruction from Kayak Majik.
Three FREE one-hour sessions are available to those aged 8+ at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00, departing from the Yacht Club. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent who can observe from the shore.
