The Kintyre Way is one of Scotland’s most scenic long-distance paths offering serious trail running in idyllic surroundings, and with amazing views.
First run in 2007, it is still going strong today. It covers 32 miles from the northern part of the Kintyre Way, beginning at Tayinloan and finishing in Tarbert.

Each year, the Westerly Owner's Association organise a sailing muster to Tarbert. Approximately 10-15 boats arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday, leaving their crews to take advantage of the Tarbert hospitality in between!
This friendly club of healthcare professionals return to Tarbert year after year. Approximately 10 boats race from Kip on the Saturday, enjoy an evening meal in Starfish Resturant, before racing away again on Sunday.
**We regret to announce that the Scottish Series will not be taking place in Tarbert Loch Fyne this year due to current Government guidelines on large events.
However, we are delighted to confirm that the Scottish Series will be returning to Tarbert in 2022 to host their sailing regatta. This will be taking place on June the 2nd-6th 2022 (change of usual weekend due to bank holidays dates). So mark the dates in your diary for next year folks! More information can be found here
