Passenger Boats
Cruise Liners
Larger vessels such as cruise liners can anchor just outside the harbour entrance and land passengers via tender to our modern and secure pontoons in the heart of the village.
Caledonian MacBrayne
A regular CalMac ferry service runs from Tarbert to Portavadie throughout the year and to Arran during the winter months.
P.S. Waverley
Waverley is the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Every summer, she stops at East Pier in Tarbert on a weekly basis, allowing passengers to come ashore and explore the village, while others aboard to cruise Loch Fyne for a few hours.
Tickets can also be obtained from the local visitor information centre.
The Majestic Line
"A Majestic Line cruise: The Perfect Way to Explore the West Coast of Scotland and the Hebrides". The Majestic Line vessels often berth at Tarbert Harbour during the summer season. More information
Also look out for smaller cruising vessels in the harbour.
Both the Vic 32 puffer and Splendour stop in to Tarbert regularly. If you would like to enquire about berthing your passenger boat, large or small, or make arrangements to tender into the village, please contact the Harbour Office.
