Life Jacket Service Point

Lifejackets, like all safety equipment, need to be checked and serviced at regular intervals if they are to fulfil their function in an emergency. We are committed to on the water safety and are a Lifejacket Service Point for SeaSafe Systems Ltd, UK lifejacket manufacturers.

Harbour Office

We are open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm, with a duty officer on at the weekends. If you require assistance and there is no one present, please call the harbour office on 01880 820 344, which will be diverted to the listening officer.

Toilets, Showers & Laundry

A new updated toilet and shower block opened in December 2018 with upgraded disabled access, baby changing facilities and a new laundry area. A change machine for coins is now available in the toilet block entrance.

Wi-Fi

Free access for all visitors & berth holders via an externally managed system provided by WiFiSPARK. 24/7 helpdesk is available for customers with connectivity issues, and content filtering & bandwidth control are in place.​

It's quick and easy to join our free Wi-Fi, simply search for "Tarbet Harbour" in Wi-Fi settings on your device, follow the instructions to sign up and enjoy free Wi-Fi during your stay!

Electricity

Visitor berths are readily topped up, free of charge. Berth Holders can purchase electricity credit at the Harbour Office.

Fuel & Gas

Diesel:
is available from the fish quay Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm, and on prior arrangement at weekends. Fuel can only be pumped directly into vessels and no longer transported in jerry cans.
Payment: We now accept card payments for red diesel.

Petrol:
is no longer available in Tarbert. The nearest stations are in Clachan (11 miles south) or Lochgilphead (14 miles north).

Gas: 
Due to supply issues from Calor Gas, we now supply FloGas in 4.5kg and 3.9kg sized bottles, these are available through the Harbour Office/Chandlery.

We currently supply the following sizes in gas bottles:

Recycling & General Waste:

Please help us to help the environment!
We take recycling very seriously and would be grateful of your co-operation, so please use the recycling bins provided (marked plastic, paper, glass).

General Waste
General waste bins are also provided and you can find these bins beside the Harbour Office.

Waste Oil 
Waste oil can be disposed of in a container beside the Harbour Office.

Battery Disposal
Please enquire at the Harbour Office regarding the disposal of batteries.

Pump-out Berth
The token operated pump-out berth facility at Jake's Quay became operational in February 2019.

Car Parking and Electric Vehicle charging

Our car park has spaces for approximately 40 vehicles.

There is also an EV charging point available which can charge up to 2 vehicles simultaneously, however max load is limited to 22kw AC per access point. Please note your own (AC) EV charging cable is required. More details on this this specific charger can be found here or go to Charge Place Scotland's Website for additional information.

Trolleys and wheelbarrows available at the top of the pontoons.

Marine Services

There are a number of local providers available in Tarbert. From engineers to electricians, sail-makers to boat valet & maintenance. Please ask at the Harbour Office for recommendations and contact details.
